Dr. Yasser El Sergany
Yasser El Sergany, MD FRCSI started his surgical career in 1982 and received his Board Certification in General Surgery in 1990. A Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, Dr. El Sergany has helped train many young Irish and British surgeons. His career in the United States saw him taking on a variety of leadership roles in health care after fellowship in the Advanced Emergency Medicine Program Level 1 Trauma Center at Hartford Hospital, Connecticut. He has held several academic positions including Director of Medical Education and Adjunct Professor of General Surgery at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Professor of Western Medicine at the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine and Advanced Trauma Life Support Instructor for the American College of Surgeons. Dr El Sergany served as the Medical Director for Norwegian Cruise Line for several years, caring for the passengers and crew of Oahu and the outer islands. His clinical interests include advanced techniques in varicose vein treatment.
