Kelly brings a unique approach to the PVI team as a Medical Anthropologist specializing in Diabetes Care and Metabolic Restoration. Conventionally trained as a Clinical Dietitian and Exercise Physiologist, Kelly has spent over a decade as a Health Educator customizing wellness strategies for individuals, small groups, and communities. From the Wai‘anae Coast of O‘ahu to the island of Lānaʻi, she has worked with people across the lifespan to hone in on specific health concerns and find feasible solutions that focus on improving quality of life. Kelly has a particular interest in utilizing continuous glucose monitors as a tool for prioritizing behavior modifications in an effort to preserve the joy of eating and remove negative associations with physical activity. She prides herself on being a ”flexitarian” and believes every body needs its own personalized, adaptable plan to thrive. Her practical approach to creating sustainable habit shifts with an emphasis on Real Food and Meaningful Movement make adopting a healthy lifestyle something to look forward to!
